Ok, it's done, only I have so many weird photos. So I'm afraid I went a bit mad!

That is such a clever tag idea! Interesting angles in that photo of you.

Okay. I'll play, but it's going to take me a while to dig through the old photo archives and scan something, so I'll let you know when I am able to post it. Fun photo of you and I enjoyed the story that went with it.

William Thirteen

one metre eh? not so impressive....

That's some sculpture.

The other engineers must have thought that I was rather odd, commissioning public art when everyone "knew" that subway stations were all about steel and concrete. Luckily there was "percentage for art", a national initiative that gave me an excuse to install sculpture and murals in six locations across London.

I'd have been thought odder, I guess, if William Thirteen had been my aesthetic adviser at Wembley.

I also proposed the concept of the periodically changing public art displays that appear on the disused platform 4 at Gloucester Road station in central London. There's a photo on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Gloucester_Road_station_art_May_06.JPG

This is one of my favorite photos of Julian. He looks so happy and just so darn cute!

Anne

Great story and great photo.

I'm so sorry that the awful, funny parts are true.

But I'm still laughing.

Was tagged in your clever "old photo" game.

Now I'm looking forward to others that I have tagged to post their pictures. What fun!
