Beautiful city- I don't travel so it's always nice to see other places via the internet.
4 of our church youth will be heading to Prague in a week or so for World Youth Day.

"Raise your hats and your glasses too
We will dance the whole night through
We're going back to a time we knew
Under a Violet Moon... HEY!"

One of my all time fave happy songs. :)

I hope you know how lucky you are to have so much so near to you to visit. Here in the most isolated capital city in the world, we must travel so very far and expensively to see any new culture... apart from Bali. :)

Prague is a lovely city, fascinating and so historic. I found it really friendly too. I'd go back with little excuse. Now if Blackmore's Night play there again...

I was just now playing Violet Moon on a twelve-string guitar, which was simply intoxicating. Being there for Blackmore's Night was a life-long highlight. I do know how fortunate I am. The whole weekend just had this amazing dream-like quality. And being there with the costumed crowd, up at the front dancing, how more wonderful could life be? The aura hasn't worn off.
