For most of the winter your weather sounded much more severe than what we had here in Kentucky. A week ago today and tomorrow, though, we had our biggest snowstorm of the season. It only amounted to about six inches, which is not alarming to me because I am from New York State, but many schools and businesses were closed. This week the snow melted quickly and we have had temperatures above 60F (=about 15C I think). We have crocuses too. I am surprised that we have spring at the same time since your winter weather is so much more severe (at least this year).

Iit's funny that the townsfolk almost seem to think you're on another planet from them when you're really not that far away.
