Yes, ammunition can be expensive. I pay $0.75 to $1 per round for my .270 Win. ammunition. If you shoot a .22 it is a lot cheaper. I did buy some reloading equipment but I haven't got around to using it yet. Reloading your own ammunition can save some money and can be interesting if you are into that sort of thing.

If I was shooting a rifle tonight rather than a bow, I'd have spent $100 or more. I couldn't afford to do that too often.
