Having photographed Brena I reward her with an apple, a transaction captured by Danielle.
It's always a pleasure to go and feed the two horses with apples or carrots. Being on holiday now I can visit in daylight making the trips even more rewarding. Having car servicing chores today I didn't get to ride however I did visit both Brena and Doru.
Brena has been moved to another field less rutted. Frozen ground petrifying deep hoof prints from an earlier age of mud were making the terrain there awkward for horses and hazardous for people.
Meanwhile low cloud and haze made the farm seem like an enclave. Now there is a little more noise from traffic as the roads become clearer however the skies are silent since all airports remain closed. This is a bad time for any flying away on holiday.
Now I need to be patient and watch the weather. How will it be on Thursday to travel seventy miles to Larynn's with Brena in the trailer? Shall we be able to ride out here or by Larynn's home? Time shall tell. Meanwhile this is better than dreary days of rain.
